My Present Future
When I was a young girl growing up I imagined all sorts of futures for myself. As I matured, my thoughts about what my future might be matured as well. Now, in the sunset of my years, I recall the memories of my future and realize that I have lived every version I had imagined; but not one of them in exactly they way I expected.
There is a quote hanging on my wall; "On the way to your dream you may get lost and find a better one." This has been the truth of my life journey.
I write now each day to retrace the twisty path that led me thru the many versions of my future to the one I presently inhabit. It doesn't matter so much how I got here today, but that thru it all, I did get here today. This is the future I was always meant to live. I invite you to share in the past memories of my future as I remember them and if you are so inclined, perhaps you out there will want to share some of your journey with me.
